FALL KICK-OFF—Please join us today for the “Fall Kick-Off Potluck/Ice Cream
Social”, in fellowship hall at 11:30. There will be special events and activities for the children, which will be provided by the Christian Education board.

NEEDLE WORKERS meets Tuesday, September 12, at 10:00 am, in fellowship hall.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ALIVE begins on September 13, at 6:00 p.m., and runs ten weeks thru November 15. Join us as we discuss Delwin Brown’s book “What Does a Progressive Christian Believe”. Everyone is welcome to
attend the class.

HEAD-TO-TOE HYGIENE PANTRY workday is this Thursday, September 14, from 9-11am, at 2130 E. 21st St. N. The Pantry is open on Saturday, September 16, from 9:00-11:30 a.m.

FALL FELLOWSHIP DINNERS—The final date for registration is today 9/10. If you are interested please sign the sheet on the PIC board in fellowship hall.

REVELATIONS is Sunday, September 24, at 5:30 for cocktails, dinner at 6:00pm, in fellowship hall. The cost is $25, in advance. The UCC Choir will perform. Proceeds benefit the student music scholarship program. Tickets on sale this Sunday 9/3/18.

AMALGAMA TICKETS on sale now. Amalgama is a musical group from the city of Leon, Nicaragua. Amalgama will perform a concert at Prairie Pines, 4055 N Tyler Road, Maize, KS, on Thursday, September 28, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $22, through the UCC church office. CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT ORDERS will run through Sunday, September 17.
Ornaments are $17.00. You can mail your check to the church office, or place it in the offering plate.

SUPPORT WICHITA CROP HUNGER WALK— You can support this this worthy outreach initiative to reduce hunger in our community – either by walking on the afternoon of October 1, or sponsoring a walker from UCC.  CROP raises dollars to support food assistance programs.  Twenty five percent of funds raised at the Wichita CROP walk stays in Wichita, with funds directed to local food assistance programs such as Open Door. To learn how you can participate go to:  www.crophungerwalk.org/wichitaks/   Or call Marla Flentje, 250-1344.
