HOUSE CHURCH – Watch your emails and Sunday bulletin for the specifics for the first House Church meetings on March 5th. One will be at Bill and Vicki Skaer’s. The other group will be at Sharon and Burt Tims home.  We are mixing up the two groups and inviting new people to join either one.   The book we are using is The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander, available at Amazon.com. Everything I read today on racism, racial disparity and separateness starts with, “We need to begin the conversation!” We’ve begun. Won’t you join us?   Please contact Bill and Vicki Skaer (wcskaer@aol.com) or Emily Hurt edgehurt@aol.com) if you plan to take part in the conversation. We begin 7:00–8:30 PM on Tuesday, March 5.

COOKS NIGHT OUT – Mark your calendar for Cook’s Night Out on Thursday, March 7, at 6:00 PM in fellowship hall.  The SmorgasChorus will be entertaining us.  Burt Tims, Romy Gerould, and Michael Mays, members of our UCC Choir, are members of this renowned, nationally recognized men’s chorus with a unique acapella sound. This group took the stage in front of 7000 people at the Axis Theater at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, in 2017 to compete with top-rated choruses internationally in the Barbershop Harmony Society’s international competition.  They placed 16th in the world!
Tickets are on sale this Sunday in fellowship hall following the service.
