THE MESSIAH SYMPOSIUM a discussion on Handel’s Oratorio The Messiah to be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 5:30pm, in the UCC Fellowship Hall. Hosted by Robin McGonigle and Paul Ellis Jackson, the symposium will feature a discussion on Dr. Michael Hanawalt’s preparation of the Wichita Symphony Chorus (which he leads) and the Reverends Carl Martin and Keith Willliamson. The symposium is intended to provide some insights into the history of the piece and how its melodies and text reverberate through the ages. The Wichita Symphony will be presenting Handel’s The Messiah on Sunday, December 5th at 8:00pm and Sunday, December 6th at 3:00pm. Additional information coming soon.

ASSISTANCE ON STAIRS Ushers are available to assist you up and down the stairs of the balcony. If you would like assistance just ask one of the ushers and they will be glad to do it.

ALL CHURCH CHRISTMAS PARTY is Sunday, December 12, at 6:00pm, in Fellowship Hall. Great food, music, and singing. The Crowson’s bluegrass Christmas band will be performing. If your last name begins with A-N, bring an appetizer, O-Z, bring a dessert. There is a sign-up sheet located on the PIC board in Fellowship Hall.
