CONGREGATIONAL MEETING is today in fellowship hall at 11:30. The purpose of the meeting is to present to the congregation for its consideration and approval of a proposed operating budget for 2020. 

THIS WEEK

LARKSFIELD CLASS meets on September 25, at 10:00 a.m., in the club room. Everyone is welcome.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ALIVE – “The Most Dangerous Book in the World”, a progressive bible study on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00, September 11-October 30.   Did you ever wonder how the Bible came to be? Who decided what books would be in it? Who even wrote all those books? And why it is so dangerous? If these questions spark your curiosity then you should join us for Wednesday Night Alive. You will need a New Revised Standard Version Bible. 

YOGA meets every Tuesday at 4:00, Thursday at 6:00, and Friday, at 10:00, in fellowship hall. The cost for the Tuesday and Thursday class is $5, because it is instructor-led.

NEXT WEEK

REVELATIONS is coming up! Save the date for Sunday, September 29, at 6:00, in fellowship hall. Join us for an evening of fun, good food, wine, and music by the UCC Choir.  Tickets are $25 at the door.  Proceeds benefit the student music scholarship program.  If you would like to attend you may sign-up on the PIC board this Sunday, or call/email Heidi at: heidi@box2384.temp.domains to register.  Registration ends on September 25.

GREAT HARVEST BREAD – is contributing $1.00, to the Head to Toe Hygiene Pantry for each breakfast or lunch sandwich purchased ends today. So treat yourself and head over for some lunch after the congregational meeting. They open until 3:00pm today and are located at 535 N Woodlawn. Thank you for your continued support of the Pantry!

CALLING ALL CHEFS (and wanna-be chefs)!  get out your recipe, don your toque and cook your chili.  Chili Cook-off, Sunday, Oct. 13 following the worship service.  All proceeds benefit the Hygiene Pantry, so let’s make this year the best yet!

IN THE MOOD – is October 18, at 6:30pm, at the Kansas Aviation Museum. We will be able to accept checks or credit cards that evening for the silent auction items. Join us for a fun-filled evening. Proceeds go towards the mission of our church
