THE FLOWERS ON THE COMMUNION TABLE TODAY are given by Anita Jones. To the choir in joyful recognition of their reemergence from their holiday respite.

UCC ANNUAL MEETING is today in the sanctuary immediately following the worship service at 11:30.

THIS WEEK

UCC WOMEN’S GUILD LUNCHEON – This is the last Sunday for you to sign up for the Women’s Guild Salad Luncheon to be held Wednesday, January 17th, at noon in fellowship hall. If you have never attended a Guild meeting before, this meeting will be an opportunity for you to learn what the Guild is all about. Please join us in kicking off the New Year. Today is the last day to sign up on. The Sign-up sheet is located on the PIC board in fellowship hall.

HEAD-TO-TOE HYGIENE PANTRY workday is on Thursday, January 18, from 9-11am, at 2130 E. 21st St. N. The Pantry is open on Saturday, January 20, from 9:00-11:30 a.m.

MENS’ LUNCH is Thursday, January 18, at 11:30, at Scotch & Sirloin. The guest speaker is Gary Pottoroff.

UCC COUNCIL LEADERSHIP TRAINING is on Saturday, January 20, from 10:00-11:30, in fellowship hall.

YOGA meets every Tuesday at 4:00 and Friday, at 10:00, in fellowship hall. The cost for the Tuesday class is $5 because it is instructor led.

2018 UCC PICTURE DIRECTORY – It is now time to schedule your portrait session for the 2018 UCC picture directory. The appointment scheduling is now up on our website at: www.ucchurch.org. Just click on the picture at the top of the page that says schedule your photography session. You will then be taken to another page with the same graphic click on it again. You will then be taken to the scheduling page with instructions on how to schedule your session.
Lifetouch will be at the church on February 2-3, and February 20-21, to take photographs between 2:00-9:00 on weekdays, and 10:00-5:00 weekends. 2018 is UCC’s 35th anniversary and we would like to get as many of you in the directory as possible. This directory will also highlight the history of UCC.

THE 2018 FLOWER SCHEDULE is now on the PIC board in fellowship hall. Sign up early to get your preferred date. There is a copy of the 2017 schedule on the back if you need a reminder of your preferred date. We have many dates available and would like to get the January and February dates filled quickly so that we are assured to have flowers each Sunday.

SIGN-UP FOR THE UCC APP and follow the posts from our group while they are in Nicaragua. They leave on Saturday, January 13, and will return on January 20. If you have problems downloading the app call the church office for assistance at 316-634-0430.
