New Class

LIVING WITH QUESTIONS

Experiencing the Bible Again for the First Time

This curriculum for adults, designed for group use is experiential in methodology, valuing the wisdom of each person and the integrity of their experience of the Sacred. This program has grown out of a hunger to know and engage the Bible at deeper levels as evidenced by the popularity of Marcus Borg’s original work, Reading the Bible Again for the First Time: Taking the Bible Seriously, but not Literally.

The classes will meet on Monday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM starting Monday, November 4, 2013.  Paul Jackson will be teaching this class as part of his program of study for Lay Ministry through

the NACCC.

OUTREACH

LAST DAY TO PICK UP YOUR UCC POLO SHIRTS! If you placed an order for a shirt, they are in Fellowship Hall today.  There will not be any more orders taken until next Spring and again next Fall. Thank you for your participation and we hope you enjoy your shirts.

THE ALTERNATIVE GIFT MARKET will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church located at 5002 E. Douglas on Saturday, November 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For those of you who have not been, this is a perfect stop if you want to buy a gift for someone who has everything by buying something that helps someone who has almost nothing. Lunch is available at the café.
