JAVIER IGNACIO, former UCC Choir Scholarship student, will be visiting today. He will be singing a variety of songs prior to our worship service and during worship. Javier has gone on to have a very successful career in the theatre having a featured role on Broadway last season in Sideshow.

ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION ON ISLAM on Sunday, May 1 at 5:00p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Paul Ellis Jackson will be leading the discussion with materials from Dr. Todd Green, a leading expert on Islamic relations in the U.S.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ALIVE Technology class: Facebook and Twitter, Wednesday, May 4, at 6:00 p.m. Paul Ellis Jackson will be leading this class. There will be time for questions.

DIALOGUE & FRIENDSHIP DINNER Thursday, May 5, 6:00-8:30pm, in the
Rhatigan Student Center Beggs Ballroom at WSU. “Dialogue as Antidote against

Dr. Perlmutter will outline historical, cultural, and scientific precedents and cases that map out a path for dialogue among the peoples of the world being a necessary step for greater cooperation and peace. Specifically, he will take the most recent examples of the engagement and chaos within the Middle East and Islam and the West. He will highlight failures and successes in the efforts to avoid a clash of civilization. See the PIC board for additional info.

NEXT WEEK

COOKS NIGHT OUT Thursday, May 12 at 6:00pm, Wayne Bryan will be providing a preview of Music Theater summer offerings. We will have a Greek theme and menu to celebrate the Mama Mia production. You must purchase a ticket in advance to attend. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $5 for children and will be sold today, May 1st, after church and next Sunday, May 8th. Join us for a fun musical evening!

MEDITERRANEAN FESTIVAL Saturday, May 14, at St. Mary Orthodox Christian Church. We will meet at the church at 4:00p.m. and carpool to the festival to attend the Vesper service at 5:00p.m., then enjoy a fantastic
Mediterranean meal after the service. Taste authentic foods from Lebanon, Greece, and Serbia for dinner. All items are a la carte so you can try a little bit of everything. Please sign up on the PIC board for rides. See flyer on PIC board for additional information.

NEEDLE WORKERS meets Tuesday, May 10 at 10:00. Bring a project you are currently working on or learn something new from someone else.

YOGA meets Tuesdays at 4:00 ($5.00) & Fridays at 10:00.

THE PARLOR is available for guests with young children, if you need a place to take a break with your child, the Parlor is located to your left as you exit the Sanctuary. The Parlor is equipped with comfy furniture and speakers so you can hear the service until you are able to return to the Sanctuary.
