RAFFLE TICKETS ON SALE today in Fellowship Hall, 10 tickets for $10 and 25 for $20. Baskets donated for the raffle are on display. Tickets are available through October 9. The drawing will be held at Cook’s Night Out on October 13. Winners need not be present to win. Proceeds to benefit Women’s Guild projects. Tickets for Cooks Night Out are also available for $15 each.

guided conversation with Wichita health professionals about end-of-life goals. Learn how to identify and share your personal wishes with health care providers and family members. Join us this evening Sunday, October 2, 6:00 pm at UCC.

WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING is this Wednesday, October 5, at Noon. The guest speaker is Lee Ann Vandervort, executive director of the Tree House. The cost for lunch is $7, or donate items to the Baby Shower Project. Items can be a newborn hat; toy or socks for 6 months or younger; or a package of newborn disposable
diapers. Please sign-up on the sheet located on the PIC board in Fellowship Hall. Payment and/or donation will be collected the day of the meeting.
SWEET PEACE—A DESSERT EVENT to benefit Partners for Wichita is this Thursday, October 6, 7:00-8:00p.m., at Botanica, 701 Amidon, come early and browse the gardens. RSVP to Heidi at 634-0430, or sign-up on the PIC Board. There is no cost for this fundraising event, donations are accepted.

COOKS NIGHT OUT is Thursday, October 13, at 6:00p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Tickets are currently on sale for $15, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday worship.
Col. Brenda Dietzman will be chatting about the Sheriff’s Office and a variety of their
responsibilities. She will also tell some personal stories to show the human and sometimes funnier side of law enforcement. This is an interesting time in regards to law enforcement and community relations; she looks forward to your questions and ideas so please come prepared.
GUILD BABY SHOWER The 15th Annual Baby shower will be held Wednesday, October 26, at 11:00, in Fellowship Hall. We will fill layette bags for under privileged babies in the Wichita area after we decorate the bags and have lunch. Clothing such as newborn gowns, sleepers, onesies, socks and toys are requested. Please place items in the baby box in Fellowship Hall.
Sewing days will be October 13 & 20 from 10:00-2:00. Everyone is welcome to help as we have jobs for everyone (no need to know how to sew). So bring your lunch and join us downstairs in the Guild room!
CHILDREN’S MUSIC CLASSES have begun. They are taught the 1st & 3rd
Sundays at 11:00 by choir members Mike Mays and Baylee Kampfe. They will be learning songs for the Children’s Christmas Tableau and other fun songs.
