There are two agenda items that call for a vote.

Agenda Item #1: Approve the sale of the residence at 1050 N Pinecrest which was transferred to the church by Becky Tucker.

Agenda Item #2: Trudy Matthews has resigned her position as Moderator-Elect due to family obligations. Jane Phares has agreed to step into the
position and to serve as Moderator for 2017. The congregation is asked to approve this. Please plan to attend this important meeting immediately
following worship.

Agenda Item #3: Approve the recent bylaws revisions.

PRAYER SERVICE FOR CHILDREN OF KANSAS this Monday, June 20, at 5:00p.m., at Interfaith Ministries. Join Rev. Dr. Robin McGonigle as she helps lead this event.

People of all faiths are invited to this prayer service at Inter-Faith Ministries, 829 N. Market. Rev. Titus James, along with Robin, will lead the service
dedicated to children of Kansas.  “The Kansas State Legislature will consider the school funding question again on June 23.” said Rev. James. “This is an important issue for all Kansans. It affects not only schoolchildren but all of us as we consider the quality of life in our state.”

The Prayer Service will also include a moment of silence for the victims of the Orlando, Florida massacre. “So many lives were lost to this violence,” said Rev. James. “We join with people across the nation in mourning lives lost in this senseless tragedy.”

RESOURCE FAIR & MARKET on Tuesday, June 21, from 9:00-11:00 am, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, in the Good Shepherd Hall, 430 N. Broadway. Come for breakfast and stay to talk with representatives from more than 20 social service and assistance agencies. Learn where to go when you, a parishioner, friend, employee or co-worker needs help with a variety of issues ranging from drug & alcohol dependency to homelessness

YOUNG AT ART—FINAL FRIDAY on Friday, June 24, from 5:30-8:30 pm, at Inter-Faith Ministries, Art of Faith Gallery, 829 N. Market. Illustrations, art and books by Pippa McNay, including illustrations from her most recent children’s book, “Flerds.” Also included is artwork from some of her students. A great event for the entire family.

CELL PHONES 4 CHURCHES is a program that allows you to donate your used cell phone to the church, the church staff will wipe it of all information, send it in for you and the church will receive a check for the worth of the phone. Cell Phones 4 Churches pays anywhere from $1 to $300, for a
single cell phone. We do the work for you and all you have to do is bring in your old cell phone and drop it in the box located in Fellowship Hall marked Cell Phones 4 Churches. Questions can be directed to Heidi at 634-0430.

MATT COMBS IN CONCERT at Chamber Music At the Barn on Sunday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. Join Wichita native, Matt Combs, for an exciting
multi-genre evening of violin and piano duets ranging from Bach to the music of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Matt, Grammy nominated fiddler and former member of the Grand Ole Opry staff band, has teamed with pianist and composer Nate Strasser, whose cinematic compositions will be featured at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Together, they will present a concert of songs, film scores, fiddle tunes, and a “sneak peek” of “Appalachian Rhapsody”, new composition for fiddle, piano, and full orchestra co-written by Matt and Nate. Tickets are $25, and can by purchased online at http://www.cmatb.org.

WOMENS GUILD MEETING & SALAD LUNCHEON Wednesday, June 8, at Noon. Salad luncheon provided by the Guild Board. Speaker is Pat Snyder, talking about her life as a military wife and the interesting places she has lived and visited. Ticket are $7.00, and go on sale May 29, and June 5 in Fellowship Hall after worship. Please sign-up on the PIC board in FH.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL/PICNIC will be held Friday, June 10th, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Deacons and C. E. Boards. The menu includes, hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, potato salad, baked beans, and ice cream and toppings. There will also be games and prizes so you are sure to have a great time! This church event is for the whole family. Feel free to
