Christmas Eve

Sermon Title: “Advent through the Ages: Love”

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the Annual Meeting of University Congregational Church, Wichita, KS, as provided for in the church’s bylaws. The meeting will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018, in the sanctuary immediately following the worship service at 11:30.

“IT’S NOT SERIOUS” – Is a book that has been published by Ted Blankenship. It is a book of his columns in The Active Age over the past five years. It’s titled “It’s Not Serious”, and has a cover by The Eagle’s editorial cartoonist Richard Crowson. Many have asked about it, and it is available at Amazon.com for $7.95.

RESPONSE TO THE ANGEL TREE PROJECT – exceeded all past giving. Our generous congregation is graced with the spirit of Christmas! Last week we provided over 200 gifts for people with developmental disabilities served by Starkey and for Gammon Elementary School students and their family members. We also provided gift cards to five new refugee families who have children in Gammon’s Newcomer classroom. In addition, we collected nearly 100 new blankets for Operation Holiday distribution. Your wonderful participation is a blessing of love and hope for so many in need this season.
