MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM CELEBRATION – join us in fellowship hall for cake and beverages as we celebrate our music scholarship program and our wonderful sponsors and students. Dr. Ryan Beeken will present information about the program and the way it benefits the students.

LARKSFIELD CLASS meets on February 26, at 10:00 a.m., in the club room at Larksfield.  Everyone is welcome.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ALIVE – is on Wednesday, February 26, at 6:00pm. We are offering a Progressive Bible Study “The Most Dangerous Book in the World”, on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00, from February 5-March 25, in fellowship hall.

YOGA meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:00. in fellowship hall. The class is instructor led and the cost $5.

ENDOWMENT BOARD ANNUAL MEETING – on Sunday, March 1, 2020, in the sanctuary immediately following worship service .

A TASTE OF JAZZ – on March 4, from 6:30-8:30 PM in fellowship hall.  The evening will include amazing door prizes, courtesy of the Wichita Jazz Festival, and varied delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres.  The entertainment will be provided by the extremely talented jazz trio, Billy’s Bounce, which features Mark Mazur-piano; Jim Keefer-bass; and Bill Glenn-drums.  Tickets for “A Taste of Jazz” are $20.00.

STEPHEN MINISTERS meets Thursday, March 5, at 11:00 a.m., in the office
conference room.

THE HONORABLE RICHARD D. GREENE SPEAKER SERIES – Join us for a community conversation with Leonard Pitts, Jr. at Saint Mark United Methodist Church at 1525 N Lorraine St., Wichita, KS. It is on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6:00-9:00pm. and on Saturday, March 7, from 9:30-11:30am. There is no charge at the door, but there will be a free will offering.  Everyone is welcome! Tickets will be handed out by the ushers after worship each Sunday until March 1.

SPRING FELLOWSHIP DINNERS –  This is the last Sunday to sign up in fellowship hall for the Spring Fellowship Dinners, which will take place in March and April.  Attending the dinners is a good way to become better acquainted with other UCC members and to meet people you may not know.  The host furnishes the entree, and all the guests bring a dish.  Anyone is welcome. If you are willing to host, please indicate the number of people you can accommodate for dinner.

OUTREACH thanks Grace Kneil, coordinator and cook and all those who helped to deliver and serve a dinner of lasagna, salad and cookies to Gammon Elementary teachers during Parent/Teacher conferences this week. If you’ve been a teacher, you know what a gift this outreach project is! Thank you.
