TODAY

THE FLOWERS ON THE COMMUNION TABLE TODAY are given by Leigh Aaron Leary in celebration of her husband Mike’s 70th birthday, which is today.  If we all could be filled with curiosity and excitement as he is each and every day.

THE CE BOARD will meet in the Science and Exploration Room.

THE DEACONS will meet in the area outside the downstairs kitchen.

THE OUTREACH BOARD will meet in the office meeting room.

THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES will meet in the conference room.

WE WILL HONOR CYNDI RICHTER during our Fellowship Coffee following the 10:30 AM service.  Although Cyndi will be retiring on February 1, she will still be an active UCC member and important part of our church family.  A card will be available in Fellowship Hall for you to sign for Cyndi, and we will also have a basket available for you to drop in a card for her if you wish.  Please join us for refreshments as we wish Cyndi a Happy Retirement!!______________________________________________________

TICKETS ARE ON SALE today in Fellowship Hall for the Women’s Guild  

Valentine’s Tea, Saturday, February 7,  at 2:00. The tickets are $15.00 each and your check is your reservation.  Please get your tickets early, only 60 tickets will be sold and they have sold out in the past. You can buy a table of 6 if you have a group and want to reserve a table.  The last day to buy ticket is Monday, February 2.

A NEWMEMBER CLASS, UCC 101, will be Sunday, February 1, after the church service in the downstairs conference room.  If you are interested in joining UCC, this is a great way to learn more about how the church is structured and for you to ask questions.

Please call the off ice if you are planning to attend.

WOW CLASSES BEGIN WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, AT 5:30. The class will be based on the book “What Does a Progressive Christian Believe?” and taught by both Robin and Paul. Books will be available for $12.00.  A light dinner will be provided for a free will offering. The class will be each Wednesday evening through March 25. If you can’t make all the classes, come join in when you can.

THE 2015 SANCTUARY FLOWER SCHEDULE is on the PIC board in Fellowship Hall.  Sign up early to get your preferred date.

THE SPRING FELLOWSHIP DINNER signup sheet is on the PIC board—-more information next Sunday. This is one of UCC’s most popular programs because it is a wonderful way to get to know each other better. Please make sure your information is complete and easy to read.  If have any questions, please call the office .

 TO ALL OF YOU WITH DILLON’S CARDS Dillons has made some changes in its Community Rewards program.  Effective February 1, 2015, the program will no longer use the reloadable gift cards.  Instead, you can participate in their Community Rewards program by registering your Dillons Plus card online and selecting the organization you would like to support.

A percentage of your grocery purchases will be applied to the organization you choose.  Of course, we hope you will choose UCC which will then be allocated to the Head to Toe Hygiene Pantry.  The code number for UCC is 10498.    You can register your Plus card by going to dillons.com and press Register on the top right hand side of the page and follow the directions. If you don’t have access to a computer, you can call Kim Carraway at 249-0933 and she will meet you at the church and help you register your Plus card.
