CHURCH GROWTH – There are many benefits of being a member of a small church; the chance to know a lot of the members, the chance to be involved and a part of something special, and the ability to get in and out of the parking lot quickly (just
kidding). The truth is, the benefits are many!  But another truth is that is behooves each member to be an active participant in our church. We encourage you to find something to be a part of.

CHURCH GROWTH – Remember the first time you went to Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts? If you went by yourself, it was pretty scary. Well…that’s how it is visiting a new church. But being invited to go, with someone you know, makes it much easier. Bringing a friend to one of our House Church or small group sessions is a safe, easy way to introduce them to UCC. Call and ask someone today!

OUTREACH IN ACTION – Last year, thanks to UCC, adults ready to take their GED  exams received scholarships to cover the cost of the tests. Each of the three tests they must pass cost $66. Many of these students live at or near the poverty line, and this expense is a barrier to their GED completion. The Outreach Board made a $1,000 contribution from its operating budget to the organization that supports these students – The Next Step Alliance – to pay the modest cost of these important tests.
